Kate is the co-owner of Violet & Ruby Productions with her bestie, author Jess Ashley (aka Jessica Burkhart). It is still in the beginning stages, but it will be a tween and teen-centric website of awesome, as well as a two-person packager operation. This is a fancy way of saying that Jess and Kate will get together, put on PJs, drink sugar-cookie-flavored, caffeinated tea and bounce ideas around until they have a new project to write together.
